Due to continued growth, Uniting Communities is seeking compassionate and reliable Qualified Home & Community Aged Care Workers to support older South Australians living independently in their own homes across Adelaide's Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern suburbs.
n
As a Home & Community Aged Care Worker, you'll help our customers maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by providing:
n
n
Personal care support, including showering, dressing and grooming
n
Medication assistance
n
Meal planning and preparation
n
Social support and community engagement
n
Light household duties such as vacuuming, mopping and bathroom cleaning
n
Contributing to individual support plans tailored to customer needs
n
n
Every interaction helps create a positive impact in someone's day.
n
What You'll Need
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
A genuine passion for supporting and caring for people
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Robust time management and reliability
n
A current driver's licence
n
Your own registered and insured vehicle (less than 20 years old)
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
n
Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services, or similar
n
n
