Overview

Forever Current is seeking an experienced Sample Machinist to join our in-house Sample Room on a Full-Time basis. You will work closely with Pattern Makers, Designers, QA and Buying to create high-quality samples that reflect Forever New's fit, craftsmanship, and style standards.

Responsibilities
n
n
Construct 1.5-2 complete, high-quality garments per day
n
Collaborate with Pattern Makers to resolve construction challenges
n
Support the sample cutter to ensure seamless workflow
n
Label all samples clearly with style details, dates, and fabric info
n
Ensure all samples align with critical path deadlines
n
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
n
Suggest sewing improvements and provide feedback to enhance garment construction
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Qualification in Garment Construction or equivalent fashion industry experience
n




3–5 years' experience as a Sample Machinist
n
Solid knowledge of garment construction and pattern interpretation
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
n
A collaborative, proactive and can-do attitude
