Job Description
Full-time role for a Junior Surveyor / Survey Technician, based in Rosebery, Sydney. You'll join the newly formed As Built Task Force (ABTF) and build a career in construction surveying with a specialist geotechnical and shoring contractor. Working within the ABTF and alongside the design team, you'll gain hands‐on experience while working towards, or continuing, a formal qualification in surveying. Your survey data feeds directly into the team, keeping models aligned with site conditions and deepening understanding of how in‐ground structures behave once installed.

Key responsibilities

Undertaking total station surveys to capture sheet pile deflection monitoring data for the design team
n
Conducting measured surveys to confirm sheet pile positioning and anchor installation against design
n
Capturing site photography and video of each elevation for the design team's records
n
Recording detail often missed on site, including set‐out information and changes in geometry or design
n
Maintaining survey equipment through routine checks
n

About you
n
n
A motivated, reliable attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of construction surveying
n
Comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites
n
Currently studying, or open to studying, a Certificate IV, Diploma or similar surveying qualification
n
Clear communication skills; a current driver's licence is highly regarded
n
Practical, hands‐on training and mentoring from experienced surveyors
n
Support and encouragement to pursue a Certificate IV or Diploma in Surveying
n
Exposure to advanced survey and monitoring technology
n
Genuine autonomy and real career progression
