We are seeking a Feed Mill Worker - Weighbridge Operator to join our Feedmill team in Beerwah.
n
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the Feedmill, with a particular focus on grain receival, weighbridge operations, production support and customer service. You will work closely with the Feedmill Manager, Supervisors, drivers, suppliers and other team members to ensure grain is received, recorded and directed safely and efficiently.

You will have the opportunity to:

Be involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy commercial Feedmill

Coordinate grain deliveries, weighbridge transactions and grain receival

Work with drivers and the Feedmill team to ensure grain is directed to the correct receival point and silo

Undertake grain sampling and quality checks

Operate and monitor Feedmill and unloading equipment

Provide friendly and professional service to customers using our public weighbridge

About the role
n
Working as part of the Feedmill team, you will assist with both production activities and the efficient receipt and movement of grain through the facility.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Processing grain deliveries through the weighbridge and maintaining accurate receival records
n
Coordinating grain receival, unloading locations and silo allocation
n




Conducting grain sampling and basic quality checks
n
Communicating with drivers, suppliers and Feedmill team members
n
Monitoring grain receival and escalating quality, contamination, capacity or delivery issues when required
n
Operating and monitoring Feedmill and unloading equipment
n
Providing public weighbridge services and professional customer service
n
Supporting general Feedmill production, housekeeping and operational activities
n
n
About you
n
We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
n
Ideally, you will bring:
n
n
Previous experience in a feedmill, grain receival, weighbridge, agricultural, manufacturing or similar operational environment
n
Basic computer skills and confidence completing accurate records
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to assist across the Feedmill
n
A strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to safe work practices
n
The physical capability to undertake a varied and active role in a Feedmill environment
n
n
Experience in grain handling, weighbridge operations or Feedmill production would be highly regarded.
