Key responsibilities
n
Set up each new roofing job: review subcontracts and letters of award, note the key terms and dates, and get the project loaded and ready to run
n
Prepare and lodge monthly progress claims for every active job, on time and in line with the Security of Payment Act
n
Capture, price and claim every variation as it comes up on site, so nothing gets missed
n
Prepare statutory declarations, check builders' payment schedules, and follow up short payments
n
Stay on top of what's owed across the roofing jobs, issue reminders and chase overdue accounts
n
Process weekly subcontractor and fitters claims, and keep insurances, licences and Certificates of Currency current
n
Keep site compliance paperwork in order, SWMS, roof access and working-at-heights permits, and ITPs
n
Manage clean project close-outs, retention releases, warranties and handover manuals
n
Track budgets against actuals and flag any job heading over early
n
About you
n
Administration experience in roofing, construction or a related trade is highly regarded
n
Strong attention to detail and confidence with numbers and contract paperwork
n
Comfortable working to firm monthly deadlines and keeping others to them
n




Familiarity with progress claims, variations, retention and the Security of Payment Act (or the aptitude to pick it up quickly)
n
A confident, friendly communicator with builders, head contractors and site crews
n
Well organised, with the ability to juggle ***** jobs at once
n
Valuable with Excel and Microsoft Office, and happy to learn our systems (Odoo, Payapps and Flashit, training provided)
n
Able to work independently, prioritise, and keep commercial information confidential
