The Role:

Asahi Diamond Group (Australian Operations - Asahi or Asahi Australia, formerly known as Triefus Industries) is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of industrial diamond products, with technologically advanced market-leading tooling designed to support the Mining, Construction and Engineering industries.

Our mining products include a proven bit range - surface set, colour series, T series, TA series and PCD types. Bits that utilise tested technologies such as titanium and chromium coated Diamond, and isostatic hot press manufacturing. Cutting systems that balances the need for superior quality and reliability at competitive prices.

You will be working alongside the Sales
Coordinator/Manager
and a team of Sales Representatives. Time each week will be spent on the road and at our office in Mona Vale.
n
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for generating current business through identifying growth markets and producing a strategic plan for increasing revenue. You will also look after a database of current customers.
n
You will need to fully understand your customers' challenges in order to accurately find solutions for their tooling needs.

The Candidate:
n




This is an exciting role for an ambitious person looking for a career in sales within the mining/or geotechnical (site investigation) industry.
n
n
Excellent knowledge of the exploration and drilling industry (desirable) or willing to be trained by us in gaining product knowledge, with the objective of performing your internal/external sales responsibilities.
n
Familiarity with the products you would be selling i.e. drill rods, drill bits/consumables etc (essential)
n
Experience working within a sales environment is desirable but not essential, willing to learn and be trained.
n
Ability to travel and have a degree of flexibility with working hours to meet customers' needs (essential)
n
Full driving licence (essential)
n
Ability to identify opportunities and generate business
n
Ability to develop and maintain a database of clients
n
Excellent customer service skills and a 'can do' attitude
n
Good organisational skills
n
Computer literate.
n

The Package:

A negotiable salary depending on qualifications and experience

Following the successful completion of a probationary period you will be rewarded with:
