Hunter Homes is looking for a passionate and creative Colour Consultant to join our team and service our clients throughout Tamworth and the surrounding areas.
This position will initially be offered as either part-time or full-time, depending on the successful applicant and their availability. The successful candidate must, however, be flexible and willing to transition to full-time hours as the workload and client demand in the Tamworth area increases.
There may also be opportunities to assist with administrative duties and other areas of the business, providing variety and the opportunity to develop your skills and responsibilities over time.
About the Role
As a Colour Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to help bring their vision for their new home to life. You will guide clients through their colour and product selections, providing qualified advice and helping them create cohesive and stylish finishes for their home.
The role will also provide support to our existing Colour Consulting team and may include general administration and coordination tasks as required.
Initial training will be completed at our Heatherbrae Head Office over a period of approximately 4-6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients to discuss their style, preferences and vision for their new home.
Assist clients with selecting colours, finishes, fixtures, fittings and materials.
Provide advice and recommendations to create cohesive interior and exterior colour schemes.
Prepare and maintain accurate client colour selections.




Liaise with internal teams to ensure selections are communicated accurately and within required timeframes.
Contact clients and schedule and coordinate client appointments.
Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems and documentation.
Provide administrative support to the Colour Consulting team.
Assist with general administration and office tasks as required.
Build strong relationships with clients and provide an exceptional customer experience.
About You
We are looking for someone who is creative, organised, flexible and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in interiors, design and colour.
You may have previous experience as a Colour Consultant, Interior Designer, Interior Decorator or in a similar role. Alternatively, you may have a strong passion for interiors and design and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within the building industry.
