Trade Assistants/ Offsiders – HVAC Restoration & Cleaning

Our client Clean-Air Australia is a well-established Brisbane based company operating for over 30 years. They are the HVAC-R hygiene experts, specialising in Ventilation and Air Restoration, HVAC-R Hygiene and Duct Cleaning. Serving commercial contracts in Queensland and New South Wales, trusted by Government, Healthcare, Public and Private Sector Organisations.

Our client has multiple roles for Trade Assistants & Offsiders in HVAC restoration and cleaning. To commence with these positions will be on a casual basis (still 38hrs per week), with the potential to become permanent full time.

Responsibilities in this position include assisting in the preventative maintenance and repairs on ventilation systems, including fans, ducts, filters and controls. The opportunity to work in a variety of settings from hospitals and schools to offices and industrial facilities.

This role would suit someone with a keen interest in HVAC,



wanted to make a career in the industry with our client allowing different career paths (opportunities such as Team Leaders and Supervisors).

To be considered:
n
n
Experience as a trade assistant or offsider
n
Experience in ventilation systems or electrical systems a plusbut not essential
n
Experience in another field such as surface prep or spray painting or commercial cleaning and wanting to move into the HVAC cleaning/ restoration industry
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work different set rosters such as day shifts and night shift
n
Physically fit, no medical restrictions preventing carrying tasks in the job description
n
Must be a permanent Australian resident with permanent full-time working rights
n
A valid drivers license
n
Willing to undertake a national police check
