About the Role
n
We're hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning for internal and external projects across multiple projects. As a Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to ensure all cost deliverables for our projects are complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with the relevant tendering conditions.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and the Director to cost plan a diverse range of internal and external projects from concept to tender phase.
n
Experience with tender documentation, creating BOQ's with efficient turnaround times.
n
Supporting live projects with cost planning services from the pre-construction phase, through to progress and management
n
Ability to produce tenders and manage multiple tenders at any given time.
n
Preparation of construction pre-funding reports and ability to manage progress claims and variations.
n
About You:

The right candidate will be self-driven and resourceful,



possessing the confidence and experience required to solve problems and make decisions in a timely fashion. Whether working on one or multiple projects at any given time.

Candidate requirements include:
n
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
n
Must be a current member of the AIQS (Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors)
n
Minimum of 5 years of experience in
Estimating/Quantity
Surveying
n
Experience and success in cost planning and tendering construction projects across multiple market sectors
n
Familiarity with Australian construction delivery, construction models and contracts
n
Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools (such as Cubit Build soft, CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD,) or similar.
n
Sound negotiation and time management skills
