About the Role
Playing a pivotal part in our organisation, the role of the Field Service Technician is to ensure all equipment is well maintained, serviced to company requirements, ready for hire and responding too and correcting breakdowns. In addition ensuring the continued success of equipment hire within the Access Division, through well maintained plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Arranging manufacturer assistance for any complex breakdowns or parts replacements
Conduct all regular servicing of equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements
Attend site breakdowns or any mechanical issues as required
Provide customer service and breakdown support by phone to clients
Attend manufacturer training & update training for new models
Manage onsite breakdowns based on 24/7 service as required
Reporting all problems, safety issues, risks, and opportunities to management
Maintaining stock control i.e. filters, consumables in vehicle, spare parts
Updating logbook of plant and maintain service schedule




Maintaining safe operating conditions of all equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements and company standards
About You
Elevated Work Platform, License for High‐Risk Work, EWPA Yellow Card or equivalent
Test and Tagging of Portable Electrical Appliances (certificate) advantageous but not essential
Minimum 2 years in similar role/s with exposure to elevated work platforms and access hire equipment
Mechanically minded, self-motivated, attention to detail and computer literate
