Role: Trainee Educator

Location: Lennox Head, NSW

Centre: Goodstart Lennox Head

Employment Type: Full Time / Fixed Term (18 months)

Pay: $***** per hour + super + discounts

As a Trainee Educator, you will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey, with support from the Centre Leadership Team, teachers, and educators to build your career while working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

Eligibility
n
To be eligible for a traineeship, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last seven years. Applicants who have completed a school‐based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible.

In Addition, You Must Have
n

The willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
n
A permanent right to work in Australia
n
Strong communication skills
n
Positive time‐management and organisational skills
n
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
n
Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

Flexible availability
n
Interest in early years education
n
Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
n
Certificate of completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
n
Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) – or be willing to receive
