About the Role
n
Join our team at Kooragang Island as Production Operator.
n
This is a hands-on operational role where you'll be trained to safely operate and monitor the plant and equipment used within the Primary Distribution Centre.
n
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, good basic IT skills and a willingness to learn. You do not need extensive industry experience – we will provide the training and support you need to become confident in the role.
n
What You Will Be Doing
n
n
Safely operating and monitoring plant and equipment
n
Using computer-based systems to monitor the process and record information
n
Completing routine plant and equipment checks
n
Following operating procedures and safety requirements
n
Identifying and reporting issues or equipment faults
n
Supporting the team to achieve production and operational targets
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
n
Learning new processes, equipment and systems through on-the-job training
n
n
About You
n




You do not need to have extensive manufacturing or industrial experience to be successful in this role. We are looking for someone who:

Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
n
Is comfortable using computers and basic IT systems
n
Is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work
n
Has a strong commitment to safety
n
Can follow procedures and work well as part of a team
n
Is keen to learn a new industry and develop their skills
n
Has previous experience in manufacturing, production, mining,agriculture or a similar environment (desirable, but not essential).
