The Opportunity
Help maintain the infrastructure that keeps Noosa moving. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect roads, pathways, drainage and other public assets, identifying defects and prioritising maintenance works that support safe, reliable and high-quality community infrastructure.

$84,823 - Base annual salary
$96,281 - Total Remuneration Package which is based on a full-time employee and inclusive of 12% Employer superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading.

About You
You're a practical, safety-focused and customer-oriented professional with experience in civil construction, infrastructure maintenance or asset inspections. You have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working both in the field and in office-based systems. You can confidently assess asset defects, investigate customer requests, prioritise maintenance needs and make sound recommendations. You are comfortable using mobile technology and asset management systems and take pride in delivering positive outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect roads, pathways, drainage and other infrastructure assets, identifying and assessing defects and hazards
Prioritise maintenance and rectification works and create work orders in accordance with Council service levels
Maintain accurate inspection records and asset information within Council systems
Respond to customer requests, investigate asset-related issues and assist with infrastructure condition assessments
Skills and Experience
Experience in civil construction, maintenance activities or infrastructure asset inspections
Knowledge of road, pathway, bridge and drainage asset maintenance practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess asset defects and maintenance requirements
Experience using mobile devices, asset management systems or field-based inspection technology
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Qualifications
Certificate III in Civil Construction or a related technical qualification, or extensive relevant experience
Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Current C Class driver licence
Current R Class motorcycle licence
