We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Electrical Recycling / Warehouse Operators to join our team in Villawood. This is a hands-on role working in a loud and dusty environment, sorting and processing a wide range of electrical goods and materials.

We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Electrical Recycling / Warehouse Operators to join our team in Villawood. This is a hands-on role working in a loud and dusty setting, sorting and processing a wide range of electrical goods and materials.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Attend a daily toolbox meeting each morning
n
Sort and process electrical goods including TVs, microwaves, monitors, toasters, coffee machines, printers, UPS systems, speakers and more
n
Use power tools and hand tools including knives, cutters, screwdrivers and hammers to dismantle products and remove parts and batteries
n
Sort materials such as cables, batteries, CDs and other components
n
Manually lift and move bins, cages and electrical appliances
n
Work across different areas of the site as required
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures




n
Wear required PPE, including masks, earmuffs, gloves and long sleeves
n
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous warehouse, recycling, production or similar experience is highly regarded
n
Must be confident using power tools
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Able to lift up to 20kg
n
Comfortable working in a loud and dusty environment
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Good attitude and willingness to learn
n
Able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
n

Group Interview & Site Walkthrough

Group interviews will be held on Tuesday, 1 September and Wednesday, 2 September.

Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to attend a site walkthrough and see the working environment before commencing.
