About the role
n
As a Procurement Specialist – Non-Clinical, you will play an important role in supporting Calvary's national Procurement and Supply Chain function. You'll help deliver category strategies and sourcing activities across Calvary's indirect and non-clinical spend portfolio.
n
Working closely with Category Managers, you'll provide sourcing, analytical and contract administration support, while helping ensure procurement activities are effective, compliant and aligned with governance requirements.
n
This is a great opportunity to build your procurement capability, with the chance to progressively take ownership of lower-complexity sourcing activities. You'll also contribute to maintaining high standards of data quality, governance and procurement practices across the non-clinical category team.
n
Your main duties will include:
n
n
Commit to comply with the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards and Calvary policies and procedures related to creating a culture of safety and wellbeing for children and adults at risk.
n
Support Category Managers in the preparation and execution of sourcing activities including RFQs, RFTs, market soundings and supplier evaluations.
n
Prepare procurement documentation including specification templates, evaluation matrices, bid comparison summaries, recommendation reports and contract briefs.
n
Manage lower-value and less complex sourcing activities end-to-end under the guidance of a Category Manager, in accordance with Calvary's procurement policy.
n
Assist with contract administration including contract loading, variation tracking, expiry and renewal management, and supplier correspondence.
n
Liaise with operational stakeholders across Calvary's sites to gather requirements, respond to procurement queries and support roll-out of new contracts.
n
Maintain accurate and current data in Calvary's procurement and contract management systems.
n
Contribute to spend analysis, savings tracking and category reporting as directed by the Category Manager.

About you
n
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement, supply chain, commercial or contract administration role – preferably in non-clinical categories
n
Demonstrated ability to support sourcing processes, prepare procurement documentation and manage competing priorities.
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work accurately under deadline pressure.
n
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
n
Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, business or a related discipline, or currently enrolled.
n
CIPS membership or study towards qualification.
n
Experience in healthcare, aged care or a multi-site service environment.
n
Exposure to procurement or ERP systems.
