Job Description
HEH Civil is seeking a Safety Officer to support a project-based team in Cairns / Far North Queensland. Reporting to the Systems Manager, this role is based onsite in the project site office and will support day-to-day safety, environmental and quality activities for the project.

Key Responsibilities

Support site inspections, audits, task observations and hazard reporting
n
Assist with risk assessments, SWMS, incidents and corrective actions
n
Help maintain HSEQ documentation, records, training and toolbox talks
n
Support the Integrated Management System and ISO **** / ISO ***** requirements
n
n
About You
n
n
Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
n
Construction White Card and current Queensland Driver's Licence
n




Good communication skills and confidence working with site teams
n
Willingness to learn and build practical safety experience in civil construction
n
Experience in safety, WHS, HSEQ, civil construction or DTMR projects will be highly regarded, but is not essential
n
