We are a family-owned manufacturing business that has a position available for a keen Factory Hand / Press Operator.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Learning to set up and operate Expanded Metal Presses
n
Assisting with all aspects of production of Expanded Metal Mesh
n
Packing orders and loading/unloading of trucks
n
Basic stock control and record keeping
n
Keeping work areas clean and swept
n
Washing trucks and vehicles
n
Operation of automatic cut to length lines and guillotines
n
General grounds upkeep and facility maintenance
n
About you
n
Forklift and MR truck license would be an advantage
n
Previous manufacturing experience or a sound mechanical aptitude will be an advantage
n
Reliable and highly self-motivated
n
Able to work as part of a small team in a quick-paced environment
n
About us
n
We work a 40hr week, 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday with one roster day off per month
