The College is seeking to employ a suitably qualified, highly motivated Wellbeing Officer who is interested in investing in the lives of our students and the College. The position will commence in Term 1, ****. This role involves taking a proactive approach in ensuring the Islamic, emotional, psychological and social wellbeing of our students.

The successful candidate will:
n
n
Hold a Diploma in Community Services or a related field
n
Have experience working in educational settings with a focus on student wellbeing
n
Have experience with Islamic values and principles and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by students
n
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
n
Have the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
n




Demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team
n
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
n
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
n
Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
n
Be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular programs at the College
n
Hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
