Lead, mentor, and support a team of Collections Officers in a high-volume commercial collections workplace
n
Act as the escalation point for complex, high-value, or sensitive commercial accounts
n
Own team KPIs and drive delinquency, recovery, and loss targets
n
Set clear expectations and allocate workloads effectively
n
Provide regular feedback and coaching
n
Drive ongoing team capability and engagement
n
Identify process improvements and champion smarter, faster collections processes
n
Help shape and maintain a credit control management framework for commercial lending
n
Collaborate with Finance, Credit, Account Management, and Operations
n
Identify team growth opportunities and handle performance issues constructively
n
n
Requirements
n
n
7+ years' experience in receivables, credit management, or debt recovery
n
Significant experience in commercial collections and commercial lending
n
Proven leadership in collections or credit operations, including coaching and performance management
n
Track record of achieving team targets for commercial delinquency, recovery, and loss metrics
n
Expertise in managing escalations for complex and high-stake commercial accounts
n
Comprehensive understanding of AU regulatory obligations, including the NCCP Act, ASIC guidelines, and Privacy Act
n
Experience with credit control frameworks, process improvement,



and commercial collections models
n
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
n
Familiarity with collections systems, CRM platforms, and debt management tools
n
Legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand without employer sponsorship
n
