Job Description
Join a growing owner's team delivering major sustaining capital projects across large-scale residue storage facilities supporting Queensland's alumina industry. This site-based role will see you lead project execution, quality assurance, contractor coordination and earthworks delivery, playing a key role in the safe and successful delivery of annual wall raise programs.

Lead the planning and execution of major earthworks and wall raise projects.
n
Coordinate construction activities across multiple work fronts.
n
Manage project schedules, budgets and cost forecasts.
n
Monitor project performance and construction productivity.
n
Drive quality assurance and quality control outcomes across project delivery.
n
Ensure inspection and test plans are implemented and completed.
n
Review engineering deliverables, technical documentation and construction records.
n
Support procurement activities and contractor management.
n
Coordinate survey, geotechnical and specialist engineering support.
n
Manage project risks, opportunities and change management processes.
n
Provide technical support to site supervisors and construction teams.
n
Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across operations, engineering and project teams.
n
Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and field engagement.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery.

Requirements
n
n
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Proven experience delivering bulk earthworks, civil, mining or infrastructure projects.
n
Strong construction delivery and project execution background.
n
Experience managing project schedules, costs, forecasting and reporting.
n
Demonstrated understanding of QA/QC processes and construction assurance.
n
Ability to work closely with field teams and operational stakeholders.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Experience working in mining, resources, heavy industry or industrial environments.
n
Exposure to residue storage facilities, tailings, dams, embankments or water infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
n
Experience within an owner's team or self-perform delivery environment is advantageous.
