Ox Engineering is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Perth workshop. You'll work on the build, repair and modification of mining and industrial equipment, with the prospect to be involved in a wide variety of interesting projects.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Fitting, assembling and installing custom truck bodies including tilt trays, crane trucks, drill rigs and much more.
n
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
n




Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on mining support equipment
n
Working closely with boilermakers, tradespeople and supervisors to deliver quality builds
n
Performing with commissioning, testing and final fit-out of bespoke equipment
n
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Australian trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
n
Experience in heavy industry, mining, drilling, transport, manufacturing or similar environments
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented attitude
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
HR driver's licence
n
Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
n
Welding or boilermaker experience
n
Experience with hydraulic systems or mobile plant equipment
n
