Pastrycooks – Multiple Full-Time Positions

Grand Café is seeking experienced Pastrycooks to join our growing team in Sydney.
n
We are looking for skilled pastry professionals with experience in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts and baked goods. These are permanent, full-time positions within a busy and growing hospitality business.

Prepare and produce a range of pastries, cakes, desserts and baked goods
n
Prepare pastry doughs, batters, fillings, creams, glazes and other pastry components
n
Prepare laminated dough products including croissants and other viennoiserie
n
Bake, decorate and finish pastry products to a consistently high standard
n
Follow recipes, production schedules and portion specifications
n
Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products
n
Assist with the development of new pastry and dessert products
n
Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients are stored correctly
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
n
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and café team to meet daily production requirements
n

About you
n




To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A relevant qualification in Patisserie, Commercial Cookery or a closely related field
n
At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Pastrycook or Pastry Chef
n
Strong pastry preparation and baking skills
n
Experience preparing pastries, cakes, doughs, fillings and desserts
n
Good attention to detail and a commitment to consistent product quality
n
Ability to work efficiently in a busy commercial kitchen
n
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
n

n
Employment: Permanent, full-time
n
Salary: $80,000 per annum + superannuation
n
Weekend and early morning work may be required as part of the roster
n
Successful applicants may also be required, from time to time, to perform Pastrycook duties at an associated business located in Parramatta NSW
