FBT Transwest is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Smithfield team. This full-time role is essential to the safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of Dangerous Goods (DG) and non-DG products within our warehouse operations.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment
n
Loading, unloading, moving and storing goods while ensuring product integrity
n
Handling DG and non-DG materials in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements
n
Completing accurate inventory movements and assisting with stocktakes
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and protected work environment
n
Working collaboratively with warehouse, transport and yard teams
n
Performing general warehouse duties as required
n
n




About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A current and valid forklift licence
n
Minimum 2 years' forklift experience within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment
n
Experience handling DG products (highly desirable)
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
n
Positive communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
n
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
A strong commitment to safe work practices and following procedures
n
