Job Description
Due to company growth an opportunity exists for a Trade Qualified Fitter Turner/Machinist, having sound experience with the operation of Manual and CNC including:
n
Lathe's and milling machines
n
Programming experience
n
CNC programming experience at any level is acceptable
n
Setting and operating CNC Mills/Lathes with Fanuc Controllers
n
To be successful in this role you MUST also possess the following skills and abilities:
n
Trade qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist, ideally with at least 3 years post trade experience
n
Experience in general fitting and machining with stainless and/or mild steel.
n
Experience with either stainless steel or mild steel is acceptable
n
Ability to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times.
n
Ability to read and follow drawings and work to tight tolerances
n
A team player with a good attitude who is not afraid of a challenge
n
Have a excellent work ethic with a "can do" attitude
n
Be reliable and willing to commit to the role
n
Be comfortable in operating more than one machine at a time
n
Australian work rights are either acceptable or sponsorship may be available
