The Duty Manager is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for supporting the safe, compliant and successful operation of Coogee Bay Hotel.

About the role:
n
Drive extraordinary guest experiences and consistently high service standards.
n
Lead and maintain compliance across the licensed premises.
n
Oversee day-to-day venue operations, prioritising and delegating operational requirements as required.
n
Provide clear and effective communication across departments and teams.
n
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
n
Promote and maintain the safety and security of guests, employees and all venue stakeholders.
n
Provide visible leadership across the venue and ensure operational standards,



policies and procedures are consistently maintained.
n
About you:
n
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Duty Manager role within a licensed venue.
n
Experience working within a large, multi-faceted hospitality venue.
n
Proven ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced and high-volume operations.
n
A confident and effective communicator with strong leadership skills.
n
Exceptional guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality and venue operations.
n
Passionate about team development, coaching and building a positive workplace culture.
n
Strong food and beverage product knowledge.
n
Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.
n
Holds, or is willing and eligible to obtain, Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) competency.
n
