Sentencing/Cataloguing
Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Mayfield West, NSW ****. The
Sentencing/Cataloguing
Officer will play a vital role in our records management and document control operations, ensuring that all materials are properly assessed, classified, and catalogued according to organisational standards and regulatory requirements. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our information management systems.

Key responsibilities
n
Assess records for archival value, retention and disposal requirements
n
Apply sentencing decisions per organisational policy and legislation
n
Catalogue and classify records using appropriate metadata standards
n
Organise and prepare physical and digital records for storage, archiving or disposal
n
Liaise across departments and support quality checks for accuracy
n
What we're looking for
n
Experience in records management, document control or similar
n
Knowledge of sentencing, retention schedules and disposal procedures
n
Familiarity with cataloguing systems, metadata standards and document management software
n
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work independently
n




Positive communication skills; archival or preservation experience a plus
