How you'll make an impact
As the Records Coordinator you will be responsible for the administration, integrity, security and ongoing development of Council's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). This position provides organisation-wide leadership in records and information management, ensuring Council's records are created, maintained, stored, accessed and disposed of in accordance with legislative requirements, NSW State Records standards, Council policies and approved retention and disposal authorities.
This position offers an attractive salary ranging from
$64,360
to
$81,993
gross per annum, plus superannuation (12 per cent), with commencing salary dependant on qualifications, skills, qualifications and experience.
What you'll bring to our team
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience administering and maintaining an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), including system configuration, user support, security permissions and records governance.
Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience working with, relevant legislation including the State Records Act ****, Government Information (Public Access) Act ****, Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act **** and related information governance obligations.
Excellent digital literacy and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications(Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and the ability to confidently use a variety of software products and business systems.
Sound knowledge and experience applying records and information management principles, including records classification, retention,
disposal and archiving practices in accordance with legislative requirements and approved Retention and Disposal Authorities.
