Mechanical Fitter (HVAC, LP, MP & HP pneumatics, Air systems)
Long-established mechanical services business on Sydney's Northern Beaches. They design, build, service and overhaul HVAC, filtration, pumping and high-pressure gas systems for commercial and industrial clients. The repair and overhaul side of the business is growing, and they need another fitter in the workshop.
The work
Strip, inspect, fault find and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Assembly and pressure testing of components and systems
Equipment upgrades and modifications
Working from drawings and procedures
Test documentation and quality records
Systems you'll work on
HVAC and filtration systems
Pumps, valves, gauges
Oxygen and breathing air systems
LP, MP and HP pneumatics




High-pressure nitrogen and oxygen units, portable gas charging equipment
You'll need
Cert III Mechanical Fitter, HVAC, Hydraulic or similar
Workshop overhaul or maintenance experience rebuilding equipment
Able to read drawings, follow procedures and keep tidy paperwork
Basic computer skills for reports and records
Driver's licence
On offer
$80k-$100k base + super ($45-$55 per hour depending on experience)
Over Time
38-hour week, with flexibility
