We're Hiring! Full-Time Experienced Restaurant Manager
n
Australian Food and Beverage Pty LTD trading as Cj's Crab Shack and Grill – Penrith NSW
n
Lead, train, and mentor staff, including bartenders, waiters, and food runners.
n
Create a positive and motivating work environment that fosters teamwork and high performance.
n
Operations Management:
n
Oversee day-to-day operations, including bar, pass, and front-of-house.
n
Ensure all operations run efficiently, meeting service and quality standards.
n
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
n
Staff Scheduling & Rostering:
n
Manage staff scheduling using Deputy or similar platforms to optimize coverage and efficiency.
n
Ensure rosters align with operational demands and labor budgets.
n
Reservations & Customer Experience:
n
Manage reservations using ResDiary or a similar booking system.
n
Ensure an exceptional guest experience from the moment of booking to the end of their visit.
n
Training & Development:
n
Provide ongoing training to ensure all team members deliver exceptional service.
n
Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
n
Meet and exceed KPIs, including revenue, labor costs, and customer satisfaction scores.
n
Assist in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
n
Health & Safety Compliance:
n
Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
n




Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue at all times.
n
Utilize technology (e.g., ResDiary, Deputy) to streamline operations and generate reports.
n
Analyze data to improve performance, identify trends, and implement solutions.
n
Requirements:
n
Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume venue.
n
Robust leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
n
Hands-on experience with bar, pass, and restaurant operations.
n
Proficiency in using technology, including booking systems like ResDiary and staff scheduling platforms like Deputy.
n
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
n
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and operational targets.
n
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
n
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
n
