About the Role
n
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inbound Manager to join our Sydney team located in Arndell Park. You will play a pivotal rolein overseeing and optimising the operational aspects of our inbound freight services within NSW.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Lead and manage the inbound freight processes, ensuring adherence to schedules and customer requirements.
n
Monitor KPIs for dispatch accuracy, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency.
n
Supervise and mentor inbound supervisors and team members to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
n
Ensure compliance with WHS & NHVR regulations and company policies.
n
Assist with the implementation and enforcement of all safety protocols and compliance standards including HACCP & NHVAS requirements.
n




Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
n
Oversee the recruitment and induction processes for Inbound personnel ensuring demonstrated knowledge of company and industry standards.
n
Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development in all aspects.
n
Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.
n
Identify and implement strategies to optimise Inbound workflows and collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
n
Ensure that all equipment is maintained according to safety standards and collaborate with relevant teams to schedule and execute maintenance tasks.
n
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews.
n
n
Key qualifications and Experience:
n
n
Certificate or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred) or comparative industry experience.
n
Proven experience in a leadership role within the freight or logistics industry.
n
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
n
Functional financial acumen and budget management skills.
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
n
Ability to make informed decisions and problem solve under pressure.
n
n
