About the role
n
We're looking for a qualified carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.
n
Our project pipeline spans across Queensland and includes upcoming work in the Lockyer Valley and Townsville, so candidates who are open to regional travel will be highly regarded. Travel and accommodation arrangements will be discussed and agreed on a project-by-project basis.

You'll work across a genuine mix of build types, including residential projects, commercial fit-outs, and pub/hospitality refurbishments,



offering strong variety and the chance to broaden your skills and experience across multiple sectors.

What you'll be doing
n
Carpentry work across all stages — from framing and structural work through to finishing, trims, and fitouts.
n
Reading and working from plans and specifications.
n
Working alongside a tight-knit site team and reporting to the site supervisor.
n
Maintaining XXL's standards for quality, safety, and tidy site presentation.
n
Key skills and experience required
n
Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent recognised trade qualification).
n
Demonstrated experience across residential, commercial, or pub/hospitality builds.
n
White Card (mandatory).
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
Strong work ethic, good communication, and a team-first attitude.
n
Willingness to travel to regional QLD projects (Lockyer Valley, Townsville) is a strong advantage.
