Love horses and enjoy working withpeople? This is an opportunity to combine both at Wirraway as a Horse-RidingInstructor. You'll deliver fun, safe and engaging riding experiences forcampers, including mounted, unmounted and trail riding sessions, while alsohelping with the day-to-day care and training of our horses. You'll play animportant part in creating memorable experiences for young people and guests.
About you:
This role would suit someone who isconfident around horses and enjoys working with young people. A positiveattitude, good communication skills and a strong focus on safety are important,along with the ability to bring energy to each session, work independently andbe part of a supportive team.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
Accredited Horse Riding Instructor (HorseSafety Australia).
Highly proficient in riding and workingwith horses.
Experience working with children in ahorse arena environment.
Robust group facilitation andcommunication skills.
Good understanding of safe work and riskmanagement practices.
Ability to work independently, followschedules and adapt when needed.
Please note: If you don't hold the required Horse Riding Instructor qualification, we may still consider your application for a Horse Riding Assistant role.
