The opportunity A national mechanical services business is expanding its Queensland operation and looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of its HVAC and mechanical project delivery. This is a project role, start to finish - not service coordination and not large-scale wet construction. You'll run a varied book of work across fit-outs, upgrades and central plant replacements, spanning both maintenance-driven upgrades and capital works projects. The variety is the drawcard: no two jobs look the same. Based in Brisbane, working Monday to Friday, with a genuine pathway into management as the Queensland arm grows. The work

Managing HVAC and mechanical projects end to end - scope, program, delivery and handover
n
A mix of mechanical fit-outs, upgrades and central plant replacement projects
n
Exposure to both maintenance upgrade works and capital works
n
Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site delivery
n
Owning project budgets, costings, forecasting and financial reporting
n
Client-facing throughout - you're the point of contact from award to completion
n

$150,000 – $165,000 + superannuation, depending on experience

Fully maintained company vehicle, or a car allowance

Phone and laptop provided

Monday to Friday - no weekend or on-call roster

About you
n
n
A background in HVAC, refrigeration or mechanical services
n
Around 3+ years out of the tools, already supervising, coordinating or managing projects
n
Confident reading and interpreting mechanical plans and specifications
n
Some exposure to budgeting, forecasting and project financials (beneficial, not essential)
n
Ambitious and driven - you want the next step, not the same step somewhere else
n
Full working rights in Australia and a current driver's licence
n
n
Not a seasoned Project Manager yet?
n
