THE POSITION
n
n
Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols across hospital grounds, wards and Mental Health Unit
n
Monitor CCTV, security systems, duress alarms and access control systems
n
Provide first response support for aggressive behaviour, anti-social behaviour and emergency situations
n
Escort staff, patients, visitors, contractors, valuables and deliveries as required
n
Manage building access,



lock-up and unlock procedures
n
Complete incident reports, logbooks, audits and required documentation
n
Deliver a professional, calm and customer-focused presence at all times
n
n
THE PERSON
n
n
Current and valid NSW Security Licence
n
Certificate II in Security Operations (minimum)
n
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate conflict
n
Sound report writing and basic computer skills
n
Ability to stay calm under pressure and act decisively during incidents
n
