About the role
Our client, a leading global healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their payroll team on an initial 2-3 month temporary role. They are open to experience and coaching the right candidate.
Review and validate payroll data prior to processing
Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies
Perform payroll reconciliations and quality checks
Review leave balances, timesheets and employee records
Manage payroll and employee enquiry inboxes
Support payroll compliance activities and background payroll processes
Assist with termination calculations and overpayment reviews
Conduct manual payroll calculations as required
Support Dayforce-related administration and troubleshooting activities.
Skills & experience




Proven experience in payroll administration within a medium to large organisation
Strong capability in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
Understanding of Long Service Leave (LSL) calculations
Experience with Dayforce or similar payroll systems is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
