As a Licenced Traffic Controller with NQES Industries, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of workers, vehicles, and pedestrians while managing the flow of traffic at construction sites across remote Queensland. We are committed to providing you with the tools, training, and support you will need to succeed in this vital role. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to fit work around your lifestyle.

Direct and manage traffic and pedestrian flow through construction zones using appropriate signage, signals, and traffic control devices
n
Ensure the safety of all workers, vehicles and pedestrians within work sites
n
Identify and mitigate hazards to maintain a secure work environment
n
Report incidents and safety concerns to site supervisors promptly
n
Provide professional customer service to the public and stakeholders
n
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

About the Candidate
n

Valid Traffic Control Licences (or equivalent qualification) is preferred
n
Must hold a valid TC (Traffic Control) licence
n
Previous traffic control experience is desired but not mandatory
n
Robust communication skills with a customer-first attitude
n
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
n
A keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving skills
n
A commitment to workplace health and safety
n
A current Australian driver's license
n
Implement Traffic Management Plans
n
Control Traffic with a Stop/Slow Bat.
n
Must be an Australian citizen with full work rights
n
