At Happy Learners Therapy Services, we know that exceptional therapy starts with well-supported therapists. Established on Brisbane's Southside for over 11 years, we are an NDIS‐registered paediatric practice with a collaborative team of 10 OTs—ranging from enthusiastic early‐career clinicians to experienced seniors.
n
We are seeking **** Graduates and Early Career OTs (0–2 years experience) to join our warm, play‐based, and supportive practice. Whether you want to hit the ground running in January or take a break and start in March, we offer flexible start dates to suit your transition into practice.

Our program is designed to bridge the gap between university theory and real‐world clinical confidence. You will receive:
n
Weekly 1:1 Supervision: Dedicated weekly mentoring with an experienced or senior OT who loves teaching and cheering you on.
n
Tailored Practical Workshops: In‐house learning series covering Assessments, Session Planning, Room & Equipment Use/Setup, Parent Consultation Training, Report Writing, Toileting, Sensory Processing Series, Paediatric Approaches, and ad‐hoc topics based on your personal PD goals.
n
Shadowing & Learning from others: Hands‐on observation with other clinicians across varied client presentations.
n
Daily Shared‐Office Support: Sit alongside team members who are always ready to brainstorm ideas, share resources, or talk through an approach or strategy.
n
Your Week in Practice
n
Paediatric Caseload: Work with children and teens aged 2–17 years (NDIS and private) presenting with Autism, ADHD, motor delays, sensory processing differences, and developmental delays.
n
Strengths‐Focused & Neuro‐Affirming: Deliver play‐based therapy that honours each child's unique communication style and individual differences.
n
Balanced Delivery: A manageable blend of clinic‐based sessions in our playful Springwood facility and local mobile visits (within a 30‐minute radius, scheduled for optimal daily flow).
n
Team Connection: Fortnightly all‐in PD, regular check‐ins, team lunches, and plenty of everyday laughs in our open‐plan office.
n
About You
n
Final‐year OT student, late ****/ early **** graduate, or early‐career OT (0–2 years experience) eligible for AHPRA registration.
n
Passionate about paediatric practice, play‐based engagement, goal‐directed intervention and evidence informed practice.
n
Kind, reflective, and team-oriented—you thrive in a supportive team environment and enjoy learning alongside others.
n
Current (or willing to obtain) QLD Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Australian Driver's Licence with a reliable vehicle.
