Job Description
Clinical Team Leader | Adult Mental Health
n
HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join a well-respected and reputable not-for-profit organisation in North West Sydney, funded to providehigh intensity support for people with severe mental illness.
n
We are working with a well-respected Not-for-Profit organisation to seek a dedicated Clinical Team Lead to join their team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in sharing your experience and knowledge in mental health with the team, supporting with assessments, case reviews and clinical guidance.
n
Please note, this role will initially be offered as a 6 month contract.
n
Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to the team delivering recovery-oriented mental health support services.
n
Support staff to manage complex mental health presentations, risk assessments, crisis interventions, and care planning.
n
Promote best-practice, evidence-based approaches aligned with trauma-informed and person-centred care principles.
n
Provide coaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, reflective practice, and clinical excellence.
n
Oversee the development, implementation,
and review of individualised care plans to ensure participants achieve their recovery goals.
n
Ensure participants receive coordinated, high-quality services that support independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
n
Monitor participant progress and outcomes, ensuring services remain responsive to changing needs.
n
Provide direct clinical consultation and support for participants with complex psychosocial and mental health needs.
n

To be successful in this role, you will require:
n
n
A tertiary degree in Social Work, Nursing or Psychology
n
Registration with a relevant professional bodyAASW or AHPRA
n
Proven experience in leading and coordinating a team in a mental health setting.
n
Strong ability to inspire and facilitate team cohesion and cooperation.
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build relationships.
n
Ability to work independently and lead by example.
n
