POSITION

We have a full time position available for a Delivery Truck Driver in Cairns, QLD, 4870.

SKILLS

The role requires you to have;
2 Years of relevant work experience
Current QLD Drivers MR Licence
Current LF licence to operate a forklift

RESPONSIBILITIES

To safely and efficiently operate company heavy vehicles to transport and deliver lubricant products to commercial and other customer locations throughout Cairns and surrounding regions.

POSITION DUTIES
Operate heavy vehicles to safely transport and deliver lubricant products to customer sites across metropolitan, regional and rural areas.
Plan and complete scheduled delivery runs, including safely manoeuvring vehicles at depots, customer premises and loading areas.
Load, secure, transport and unload products in accordance with load restraint, weight, safety and product-handling requirements.




Conduct pre-start and routine vehicle inspections, monitor vehicle condition and report faults, incidents or maintenance requirements.
Ensure vehicles are kept clean, protected, roadworthy and operated in accordance with licence conditions and company procedures.
Complete delivery dockets, vehicle records, inspection records and other required transport documentation accurately.
Communicate with management, dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, access requirements, delays and other operational matters.

SALARY

The position will attract a salary between $80,000 to $100,000 per annum negotiated based on your experience.
