Field Service Fitter - Mobile Plant Equipment

As our NSW operations continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Field Service Fitter to join our Unanderra-based service team.
n
This is a varied, hands-on role working on mobile crushing and screening equipment across customer sites and in the workshop when required.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Completing scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs on mobile plant
n
Diagnosing faults across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
n
Removing and replacing major components
n
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and commissioning new equipment
n
Preparing machinery for delivery and customer handover
n
Accurately completing service reports and job documentation
n
Working safely and professionally at customer sites
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
A relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, Diesel/Plant Mechanic or equivalent
n
At least five years' post-trade experience
n




Strong experience working with heavy mobile plant or material processing equipment
n
Sound hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
n
Crushing and screening experience will be highly regarded
n
A strong commitment to safe work practices
n

You're a capable and reliable tradesperson who is comfortable working independently in the field. You take ownership of your work, communicate well with customers and enjoy the variety and problem-solving that come with a field service role.

You'll also be supported by an experienced team when you need technical assistance or advice.
