New Care Services is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) to join our growing team providing community-based care to Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients throughout the Mullumbimby region.
n

About the Role
n
We are currently recruiting for multiple nursing positions to support DVA-funded clients within the community. Opportunities are available across a range of shifts, including day, evening, and active overnight supports.
n
Responsibilities may include:
n
n
Respiratory support and monitoring.
n
Recognising and responding to signs of deterioration.
n
Managing oxygen therapy and other clinical interventions.
n
Providing palliative and end-of-life care support.
n
Medication administration, including PRN medications.
n
Mobility assistance and transfers.
n
Continence management.
n
Personal care and hygiene support.
n
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
n
Working collaboratively with clients, families,



and healthcare professionals.
n

Available Shifts
n
A variety of shifts are available, including:

Day shifts
n
Afternoon shifts
n
Active overnight shifts
n
Weekend shifts
n
n
Shift times may vary depending on client needs and service requirements.

About You
n
Registered Nurse Applicants
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Strong clinical assessment and decision‐making skills.
n
Experience in community care, aged care, disability support, palliative care, or complex health care.
n
n
Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Applicants
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
n
Current Medication Endorsement.
n
Experience supporting clients with complex health needs.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Current National Police Check.
n
Current First Aid, Basic Life Support, and CPR certification.
n
Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
n
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
n
