The role:
We're on the lookout for experienced Disability Support Workers to join a newly established team to work in SIL home located in Goodna.
In this role, you'll support an NDIS participant with a neurological disorder, intellectual disability, high intensity needs and follow a Positive Behaviour Support Plan.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering person-centred support and following individual care plans.
Managing challenging behaviours and following Positive Behaviour Support Plan (training provided by Behaviour Support Practitioner)
Supporting with household tasks such as meal prep, cooking, and cleaning.
Assisting clients to engage in community and recreational activities (including swimming/hydrotherapy).
Ensuring secure, compliant practices in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and WHS standards.

What You'll Need:
Experience with high intensity needs, challenging behaviours and supporting clients who are non verbal is extremely desirable.




Passion for working with people with disabilities.
Current paid NDIS Worker Screening check (yellow card) and Queensland Working With Children Check (blue card).
Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
Driver licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
