Design Manager - Own Projects & Design Outcomes

A highly regarded, design-focused architecture practice is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded design professional to take ownership of projects across high-end residential and modular developments.

Working closely with clients, architects, consultants and contractors, you'll be responsible for driving design outcomes, coordinating documentation and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard across all stages.
n
You'll bring strong Australian project experience, excellent technical knowledge and advanced Revit skills, with the confidence to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and manage the design process across high-end residential and modular projects.
n
Coordinate projects from concept and design development through to documentation and construction.
n
Manage and coordinate architects, consultants, contractors and project teams.
n
Review and oversee high-quality Revit documentation and technical deliverables.
n
Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver design outcomes.
n
Identify and resolve design, technical and coordination issues.Monitor project programmes, quality and design deliverables.
n
Coordinate architectural design and interior fit-out elements where required.
n
Attend site meetings and support projects through construction.




n
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, NCC/BCA and planning requirements.
n
Contribute to design strategy, project reviews and the continued growth of the practice.

Skills & Experience
n
n
Relevant architectural, design or construction qualification.
n
Strong Australian industry experience, ideally across high-end residential and/or modular projects.
n
Proven experience managing design processes across multiple project stages.
n
Advanced Revit skills with strong documentation and technical capabilities.
n
Solid understanding of construction, detailing, planning and NCC/BCA requirements.
n
Excellent consultant and stakeholder coordination skills.
n
Strong communication and client management abilities.
n
Commercially aware with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
n
Design-focused with a strong eye for quality and attention to detail.
