THE POSITION:
Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production and menu-based catering
Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, & staff management
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
Deliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experience
Establish solid relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure best price and quality of produce
Monitor stock and minimize food wastage
Lead, train, and mentor team members

THE PERSON
Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
Solid leadership experience in a Head Chef role or similar




Solid understanding of allergen management and food safety
Passionate about healthy and nutritious food, finesse in plating, knowing that presentation matters
Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce
Finesse in plating, knowing that presentation matters
Robust financial acumen relevant to labour and cost control
A highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Successful candidate must be able to pass an ASIC security clearance background check
