This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily production, drive safety and quality standards, and support a team to deliver efficient plant performance. The business is currently developing future roster structures, offering flexibility around hours and operational requirements.

The Role Reporting into site leadership, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the rendering department, ensuring production, quality and safety targets are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and coordinating daily rendering operations
Leading, training and developing production staff
Monitoring plant performance, product quality and production efficiency
Managing plant start-up and shutdown activities
Coordinating product dispatch and load scheduling
Conducting equipment inspections and supporting preventative maintenance
Maintaining high housekeeping and hygiene standards
Driving compliance with all WHS procedures and safety protocols
About You To be successful, you’ll bring:
Experience within rendering, food manufacturing, meat processing or a similar production environment
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
A hands-on approach and ability to lead from the front
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Ability to work autonomously while building solid team culture
