The Chance
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a skilled and professional team based in Henderson. This role offers a mix of workshop and field-based work, including opportunities for offshore assignments with attractive additional allowances.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and associated systems
Fault finding and diagnostics
Conduct overhauls and component rebuilds
Perform onsite and offshore service work as required
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
About You
Mechanical Trade Certificate
Proven experience working on heavy diesel engines – full overhaul and rebuilds
Experience in marine, offshore, defence, or rail sectors (highly regarded)
Experience with Turbochargers (highly regarded – higher hourly rate on offer)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel and undertake offshore work
Current driver’s licence
