As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play an important role in providing high-quality education and care for children, building meaningful relationships with children and families, and contributing to an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on children's interests, strengths and individual needs
Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children
Work collaboratively with educators to deliver a high-quality educational program
Contribute to observations, documentation and children's learning portfolios
Support children's wellbeing, learning and development
Establish positive relationships with families and the wider community
Contribute to our continuous improvement and quality improvement processes
Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
About you
A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
Graduate Diploma qualifications will only be considered where the underlying Bachelor degree is in a relevant field of study and the qualification pathway meets ECT requirements
A current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications, including HLTAID012 or equivalent




A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
An understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A warm, nurturing and positive approach
A commitment to providing high-quality education and care
The ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team
Non-contact programming and documentation time
Paid professional development, including conferences, workshops, further study opportunities and mentoring
Paid staff meetings and room meetings
Christmas shutdown period (paid using leave entitlements for permanent staff)
A supportive Management Committee that actively invests in educator wellbeing, including paid bonding and team-building activities
