Grow Landscape Yard is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Pomona, delivering all over the Sunshine Coast. As a HR Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our product delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of road safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

Deliver landscape supplies including soil, mulch, gravels and bases to residential and commercial customers
n
Operate and drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
n
Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
n
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and management regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise
n
Maintain a professional demeanor and represent Grow Landscape Yard positively to customers and the public
n

What we're looking for
n
n
A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or higher class driver's licence.
n
Proven experience driving heavy vehicles in a commercial capacity
n




Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
n
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
n
Physical fitness and the ability to perform loading and unloading duties as required
n
Loader and or forklift certification highly regarded
n
