Advance your consulting career and join the FinXL Risk & Regulatory Practice as a Senior Project Manager leading a business-critical Complaints Compliance Uplift initiative.
n
This highly autonomous engagement requires a Senior PM with strong Change Management capabilities who can shape, mobilise, and deliver complex regulatory outcomes across a diverse stakeholder landscape. You will lead discovery to establish scope, design the initial change and adoption strategy, and drive delivery across Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Member Relations streams.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Shaping & Mobilisation: Lead discovery activities to establish scope, delivery roadmaps, resource requirements, and dependencies.
n
End-to-End Delivery: Build detailed project plans, manage critical paths, control RAID logs, and produce high-quality executive governance reporting.
n
Change Strategy & Adoption: Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and design the business readiness, engagement,



and adoption roadmap before additional change execution support is mobilised.
n
Stakeholder Navigation: Proactively engage cross-functional teams (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Customer Relations) to create clarity, resolve ambiguity, and drive accountability across competing priorities.
n
Transition to BAU: Create transition plans, measure adoption outcomes, and establish long-term ownership models.

Key Criteria & Requirements
n
n
General Insurance Experience (Mandatory): Must have proven General Insurance domain experience with a strong practical understanding of regulatory obligations and insurance operational environments.
n
Dual Skill-set: 5+ years of Senior Project Management experience paired with strong, practical Change Management capabilities (designing change approaches, stakeholder maps, and adoption plans).
n
High Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to operate with limited direction, navigate complex corporate matrix structures, and proactively solve ambiguous problems.
n
Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bring diverse stakeholders along on the transformation journey.
n
Delivery Tools & Certifications: Hands-on experience with Agile/PM tools (Jira, Confluence). Relevant PM (PMP/PRINCE2), Agile, or Change Management certifications are highly regarded.

Duration: 9-12 month contract

Location: Open to candidates located in Sydney or Brisbane in the CBD.

Work Arrangement: Flexible hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days per week on-site).
