We are looking for a Principal Platform Engineer to join a leading enterprise organisation and drive the next evolution of its AWS cloud and AI platform capabilities.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly skilled platform engineering skilled to take ownership of platform strategy, architecture, automation, and engineering standards across a modern AWS ecosystem. You'll play a key role in enabling cloud-native development, accelerating AI adoption, and building secure, scalable platforms that empower engineering teams to deliver at speed.

You'll be joining a high-performing technology team working at enterprise scale, leveraging modern cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, and AI technologies to deliver real business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise-scale AWS platform capabilities.
n
Define platform architecture, standards, and engineering best practices.
n
Build and enhance cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation-first principles.
n
Drive platform reliability, observability, security, resilience, and operational excellence.
n
Enable and support cloud-native application development across engineering teams.
n
Champion DevOps, SRE, CI/CD, and Platform Engineering practices.
n
Design and implement capabilities that support AI, machine learning, and Generative AI workloads.
n
Partner with Architecture, Security, Data,



and Engineering leaders to align platform strategy with business objectives.
n
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple delivery teams.
n

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

Extensive experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
n

Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms.

Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI platforms.
